At Fernie Wilderness Adventures (FWA), we’re privileged to wake up to stunning natural beauty every day, and we’re honored to share this with our guests. Our lodge operates off the grid, relying on a combination of generator and solar power, emphasizing the importance of efficient energy consumption. FWA is committed to environmental sustainability and is actively working towards achieving carbon neutrality in the future.

 As our snowmobiles wear out we buy four-stroke engine which have lower emissions and decreased fuel usage. In the winter months we keep the snow cats idle time to a minimum. Keep in mind, some excursions require 4 wheel drive. We are committed to protecting the landscape and environment the best of our ability.

Supporting our local community is integral to our values. We contribute to various fundraisers and businesses to strengthen Fernie’s unique charm and local businesses.
